Student Planning
A typical day at the MAC School combines academic and therapeutic goals and objectives, which are individualized to meet each student’s assessed strengths and needs.
ITP Development
The MAC School develops comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) for each student, with measurable goals and objectives that guide therapy services. Instructional methods are based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA); the only scientific and data-supported therapy. Parents participate fully in the development of the ITP and approve the ITP every 90 days. During the student’s time at the MAC School, ITP goals are modified and updated to reflect the progress of each student.

IEP Development
The MAC School, in collaboration with parents, team member and the student’s resident school district, will help to develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), which addresses the student’s strengths and needs, through goals and objectives designed to increase the student’s academic achievement. The team meets yearly to determine the student’s progress and develop new goals based on the previous year’s accomplishments.
